Course Overview

"Investments & Funds (Level 1)" provides a foundational understanding of investments, funds, and the financial markets. Participants will explore the investment environment, statistical and quantitative methods for investment assessments, sources of investment risks and returns, risk measurement techniques, and regulatory requirements such as Basel standards. The course covers key concepts in capital and money markets dynamics, quantitative analysis, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis to equip participants with essential skills for investment decision-making.

Explore the essential statistical and quantitative methods and techniques for investment assessments.

Identify the basic sources of investment risks and returns, within the financial markets and institutions’ context.

  • Understanding financial statements and the interrelationship between the statements of Balance sheet, income statements, cash flows, and owners’ equity
